Home again and loving it!
Although we had a lovely time in Spain, I am very happy to be home again.
The weather today has been amazing - around 22 degrees and lots of sun.
After starting the washing this morning, we headed out to Lunt Meadows for a walk this afternoon.
There were more dragons than butterflies this time, so here we have what I think is a male common darter.
There was also a big flock of pink footed geese on one of the neighbouring fields - just too far away to photograph.
On the main pump pool there were masses of Canada Geese, teal and black headed gulls, a few cormorants, and a very elusive heron.
We had a lovely afternoon, and it was so good to see lots of green around after a week of dry and barren landscape around us.
Arrived back home in time to see GB win the doubles in the Davis Cup to keep us in the tie, but after Andy Murray's loss yesterday, I fear it is likely to all be in vain...
Oh well, back to the washing again.... :(
