Full Moon Over Turkey

When we arrived at the harbour for dinner this evening, the full moon was just rising above the mountains on the Turkish mainland which is just a short ferry ride away.

We'd explored the harbour and back streets this morning, stopping for a frappe and an orange juice inone of the many cafes, then chilled by the pool this afternoon, finishing Paul Scott's excellent book Staying On, which my sister had recommended and lent to me.

We rounded the evening off with one of the most enormous waffles Ihave seen, smothered in ice cream, honey and walnuts. Multiple lengths of the pool needed to work that one off!
