Flower Friday

I spent all day (yesterday - this is a backblip) trying to capture an elusive Peacock Butterfly. It frequently sat on the summer lilac flowers but zoomed off if I was anywhere near the focal distance. Hubby was digging a trench in the stone courtyard outside and kept telling me it was there but would not let me get close. I wasn't happy with any flower shots, either, so walked up the road and found this tangle of fluffy ex- flowers. With a bit of faffing they appear less fluffy but more striking.
