Traditional Sunshades

When we first arrived in Spain, there were very few individual sunshades/parasols on the beaches......instead, there were these long "tunnels" of shades......
and we still have a few on Albir Beach..

In this photo, the first few 'bays' have duckboards and are slightly larger than the norm.....this is .because they are designed especially for any one with a disability, or using a wheelchair. What a good idea.
