Tunisian crochet

Attended a beginners class in Tunisian crochet this afternoon in an attempt to become a more well rounded person and not be so reclusive.

It was quite interesting but the crochet hook is heavy. This is the sampler piece my tutor did as we were practising the basic stitches. I prefer the simple stitch which makes up most of the sample.
