Glut

An absolute truckload of tomatoes have appeared in the kitchen at work, courtesy of someone's allotment or garden. They were brought around the office as a healthy snack which made a positive change from the usual tonnage of cake that makes you feel your arteries are closing up by the day.

My temporary involvement in our Liberia work is winding up and the project team wrote me a lovely card. What a privilege to learn about the country and its conservation challenges. After wolfing our team dinner I went with a friend/colleague to a posh bar and over a diet coke talked about the Democratic Republic of Congo for hours.
