Hereford

A beautiful day here in Hereford, hard to believe that other parts of the country have had horrendous weather.

We enjoyed a lovely lazy morning and ditched the hotel breakfast for a local tea room / cafe.  The breakfast was amazing and I loved the little tea cozy over the tea pot!

After brunch we took a wonder down the canal and ended up walking 5miles!  Such beautiful views.

We had a good look around the old and new parts of town, enjoyed and ice cream and let the world go by.

We arrived at the little cottage that i hired for tonight and tomorrow...Chris had a few work calls to do and I had a little work to check in with.  The cottage is really sweet and tucked out of the way.

We have enjoyed a fantastic dinner and a local restaurant - good job I booked, it was packed!  he owners were lovely.

Everyone we have come across here have been friendly and happy.   

Tomorrow we have a 10k walk route planned that will take in some of the Elgar route.  Being a fan of classical music, I am intrigued by the route.
