Harrogate Flower Show

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MUM! Lovely to spend the day with you. 

I took Mum to the Harrogate Flower Show. Considering how long we've lived in Leeds it is amazing we've never been. We had a great day looking round all the stalls, not just flowers but crafts and food etc. Some beautiful floral displays. I came away with some goodies from the food and crafts halls. 

I then took Mum out for a meal at a local Italian Restaurant. The food was excellent. The final part of the treat was a trip to West Yorkshire Playhouse to see "Anniversary". I hadn't a clue what it was but it sounded as though it might be good. It was a group of older dancers and community members in their 50s, 60s etc, the oldest was 88. They were sharing stories of life events. The dance movements were great. An enjoyable end to a great day.
