Dimmer

How long does it take to replace a broken dimmer switch? Well, depends what kind of a cods the bathroom fitters made in the first place! I remembered they had a real problem fitting this but I hadn't realised until I took it off that the only thing holding it in place was sealant. Mmm, so if that worked once .... Nope, looked fine then started to loosen so more tape needed to hold it, then basically it fell off. And maybe just as well as the screws wouldn't go in anyway.
Attempt #2 is a work in progress. The screws have been hacksawed in half and fitted to the plate, though not to anything else!, the plate has been secured to the tiles with super-strong double-sided tape but still trying to fall off so yet more tape needed. If it doesn't fall off overnight then I might be in business and a wad of sealant will finish it off. Here's hoping!
