Lake Vyrnwy

I have had three nights at Bala - this and the extras were shot on the trip there - torrential rain while I was driving from Vyrnwy to to Bala, on a frightening narrow road with almost no passing points (and this is after some Scottish Highlands roads!). Happily the only points I encountered other cars (2!), were relatively convenient. I wish I had taken the Nano Brompton (electric folding bicycle), would be great for a cycle ride around the lake - if weather had been better! On arrival at Bala, I took a trip on the train, but so wet especially on the open-sided coach!), and very restricted visibility. Sorry for delay in posting - I took a MS Surface rather than Macbook, and the hotel room had horrible lighting, and the Surface does not have an illuminated keyboard. Great hotel, but I was on the THIRD floor, and I had to stop to rest on every landing to get to my room.
