Preparations

for weekend visitors.

Spent the morning cooking, baking, cleaning and ironing!

It was dull and occasionally wet so it was a good time to get ready for Grace and John arriving this evening. Lasagne for tea and cheese scones for the church coffee morning with less well shaped ones for the family.

The reason for the visit is an important wedding tomorrow. Grace's childhood friend C is getting married in our church and she is a bridesmaid, as C was for Grace three years ago.

It has brightened up now and we haven't seen the predicted storms. I even got some washing out as it is quite breezy. Cooler than it was but not a bad forecast for tomorrow. I'm sure there are lots of preparations going on right now in C's household.
