A new decade

This is my sister that turned 70 today.  She is an amazing woman and artist,  I followed her on blip for about 7 years before I decided to blip myself.  She has explored so many forms of art which I love about her.  She has also guided me throughout my life and I'm grateful to have had  a sister that is so smart.  We always had a very strong bond as family and sisters but we can now boast being good friends...that took time.

The photo in the thumbnail is a selfie she took while hiking on Mt. Rainer on her 62nd birthday.  The one to the right of the two of us was taken in the summer of 1980.  Above, between us is her daughter, that photo taken 2 years ago.  Baby photo, I was 8 months and she a bit over 6 1/2 (how I love her missing teeth and curly hair).  I included a photo of our parent, one that we all love.  Then there is the photo of one of her gallery exhibits called Commemoration which she did in 2007.  Many photos and family members not displayed here but there is a span of our lives that I felt like showing.  Happy Birthday my sister...and many, many more!
