Morning Ablutions

I had an early appointment today so set off along the canal on my bike.  The swans were back at their usual spot-(they have been away for a while)' and they were have a good morning clean.  They were pulling out feathers, spraying water around and contorting themselves into beautiful shapes-I was most impressed.  This is the cob swan identifiable by his larger size, and the black lump at the top of his beak.  The pen is in the extra photo.
