People's Trail Day 1 (atop 1st Apostle)

This weekend Lindsey and I joined a group of locals, hiked up the back side of Table Mountain and spent the night on top in a small house. This was another part of the mountain I'd never seen - very beautiful, with a number of dammed reservoirs in which you aren't supposed to swim, but we did anyway. Watching the whole sunset, and seeing the stars from on top of the mountain, was outstanding. It was also the first time either of us has spent extended periods of time with everyday white South Africans, which was a good experience. The biggest thing I learned is that rain, shine, snow, or on top of a mountain, there will be a braai and beer.
