St Gerald's Children's Centre

We visited a school today.  Although a public holiday/bank holiday here there were a number of children at the school because it is also an orphanage.  They put on a wonderful performance of singing and dancing for us.  They had come 6th nationally in a competition and we all wished them well to come first next year as there is a substantial cash prize.  We had also come bearing much needed gifts.  I was a bit worried about taking their photos but in the end, they were all begging to have their photo taken.

I was rather struck by the girl on the left who was completely out of sync in the performance.  I later found out she was new to the centre and had come with trauma in her background.  Another eye opener.
