Home we go

Our last day of holiday, and our taxi came for us after breakfast.

Quite a bit of waiting around at check in and the airport, but it was OK and the flight was fine too.  Home mid afternoon.

Overall the holiday has been a great success and so we'll have the confidence to go abroad again I'm sure!  CyclopsJnr has been extremely adaptable: sleeping in a bed with a sheet (not a cot / bag as usual), and eating from the buffet, and the hot weather and necessary suncream, and wearing mostly a sunsuit, and going to bed late - all with no problems.  He's usually a boisterous but happy child that still wakes in the night, but his sleep and behaviour has been broadly as normal.  So we're delighted if a bit tired by the end of it.

The hotel was ideal for us with several pools, the slides, and a beach. Our room was a good size with a sliding partition to divide it into two for sleeping time. The all inclusive drinks and snacks and buffet were fine and the casual dining suited CyclopsJnr's approach and tastes.  The entertainment staff worked their asses off (CyclopsJnr enjoyed their nightly 'Widgets' show) and the hotel staff were very tolerant of noisy rampaging kids.  CyclopsJnr learned to say a cheery 'Hola' to the staff, which they seemed to find charming.

Morning flights and a private transfer worked well.

The grown up Cyclopses quite enjoyed keeping toddler time and having a mid day siesta.

A week seemed about right.

So yes, all good.  Happy days.
