Let's be 'avin ya

From Snowdonia we wiggled our way through mid Wales and down to the Forest of Dean - more canoeing on the cards tomorrow for a friend's bday.

Stopped off at Gigrin Farm in Rhayader to have a peek at the red kites. Not as spectacular as in the winter months when food is scarce but still a treat. Such elegant birds.

Sadly, they are too nippy to catch on camera with any sort of clarity so this is as good as it gets!
