Strong

The ploughing match, or The Forest of Arden Agricultural Society 68th Ploughing and Hedging Match to give it its full title, took place today. I went with Coffeepotter and spent a very pleasant day there wandering round taking pictures of horses, tractors, hedging , burly men( and women in some cases ) , crafts and all manner of rural affairs. We admired the flower arrangements and jams and chutneys in the produce competition, and then had a very good lunch, with a large slab of apple pie to follow. A lovely day out.
