6 Things to do when you don't have internet.
So as you know, I have been living without internet (not now lol). And boy howdy I wish I had seen some of these suggestions before because you actually go crazy.
1. First things first you need be prepared. If you know you know you're going to be living without internet for a few days you wanna get things sorted before you go into hibernation. Get to a costa, starbucks or whatever to do the following:
> Podcasts! They are so funny and are free. They are also normally over half an hour long so keeps you going. I recommend My Dad Wrote A Porno or Psycobabble. There's obviously millions you can chose from.
> Update all your apps so you are raring to go.
> Download programs! BBC iPlayer app on the phone you can get loads of things and if you download them using WiFi you can watch them offline so no need to use up that mobile data.
2. Embrace the quiet. Yes listening to your own heart beat is literally the dullest thing ever but sometimes it's nice just to let go of social media and just let life tick over.
3. Nap. Catch up on that sleep cause when that internet comes back and you got free time, those Netflix shows be calling.
4. Go out! Go see your friends, go into town and chill in a cafe. Make the most of this quiet time you have to catch up with all your peeps. Text that girl you haven't seen since 2010! Call up your Aunt you never see! Make the most of it cause when you're busy you'll be wishing it was now.
5. Cook and eat! You got time on your hands, get a podcast on, and get cracking! Make that recipe you saw on Nigella 5 years ago that takes 2 hours. Make that cobbled loaf you saw on Bake Off!
6. READ! Seems obvious yes, but how many books have you got stored away for that holiday you haven't been on? Books are magical things and they are very entertaining. Make a brew, get settled.
I hope this helped some of you out there. Don't worry, you can do this.
Happy Blipping.
