Tropical Birmingham

Another wonderful hot day today although the weatherman says it will be back to normal temperatures tomorrow.  I visited the Botanical Gardens in Birmingham this morning.  It is a lovely place to walk around and beautifully tranquil provided you can avoid the school parties.  The butterfly was, of course, in the butterfly house as it is definitely not one of our native species.  The extra shows how the recent storm has bashed down the beautiful and very large autumn crocuses around the gardens.
