A bit of fun

A new initiative in our WI was to forge a link with the small retirement home in the village.
So two of us arrived there this afternoon to show the residents all the props we used for our Queen's Birthday Party back in June.
Here is my WI friend demonstrating one of the masks! Hoots of laughter ensued!
After our demonstration we were invited to stay for afternoon tea. A choice of cakes were offered, which everyone appreciated!
Friendly, caring and homely - the residents are very well looked after, and an amazing variety of special events and visitors are organised for them. They all appeared to be content and made us very welcome.
We will be going again!
