Morning at the park......

After the lovely day we had yesterday I was convinced that this morning would see a good sunrise, it didn't happen as I'd thought but all the same the morning was beautiful.  This was taken just after 7:30 well past the dawn, but still early enough to capture how beautiful the start to the day was.

Since then I've driven (or rather been driven) to Solihull by one daughter so that we could enjoy a pre-birthday lunch with another daughter;  their sister Deborah my youngest couldn't be with us this time as she had to be at work.  The drive takes around two and a half hours and today the traffic wasn't too bad, there were just a few hold ups this time.  When we arrived we went for coffee, then a saunter around the shops and on to lunch  - a long one.  It was a lovely day, but all too soon Caroline had to make her way back to  south Wales and Joanne and I back to Yorkshire.
