Sun Screen

This little bee seemed to be having a rest in the shade on one of the dahlias - being taller than me, I'm calling it my version of a sunflower! The seeds were free and have grown well, but none of them have grown as tall as this one.

Bit of a strange day for me. I had a migraine at the start and end of the day and wasn't too good during the night, then woke tired and couldn't get going. I managed to label the plum jam I made yesterday morning and wrote a long catch-up email to a friend I haven't been in touch with for a couple of years.

Being at work was hot and dusty, but after a shower I feel better now than I've felt all day. Maybe because it's getting close to bedtime again?!!
