Survival day

Elliott and I started our day bright and early at 3am with a trip to the after hours. He had a temperature and short breathing. He also threw up a whole lot of mucous again. The doctor said he's OK and since he has a cold it is all to be expected but we need to keep a close eye on him. We got home just after 4 and got a bit of sleep in before Lincoln got up.

I got S1 and LJ to come over and help entertain Lincoln so the day didn't get too tough on him while I looked after Elliott. It did the trick. Lincoln couldn't stop talking about it for the rest of the day.

Later on after some staggered naps - Elliott then Lincoln then Elliott again (luckily with a bit of overlap for me) we gave Lincoln a quick bath before daddy got home. We went out for a Vietnamese dinner with daddy's kung fu group. I almost didn't go but Elliott's temperature had gone down and I didn't have anything to cook so a restaurant sounded pretty good. Lincoln had a great dinner of "just rice" then deep fried ice cream. I anticipated this so filled him up on good food at lunch!
