U3A Photoshoot
Guernsey U3A needed a new banner photograph so all conveners were invited to Rocquaine to be photographed. We were all asked to wear blue (and we did even though I have now converted to grey!) and we were stage managed to lie in the pattern that formed the letters U3A. And it worked pretty well.
Afterwards most of us went to the local beach kiosk for a coffee.
And this afternoon it was the boys bellringing. One of the less experienced boys lost control of his bell and in rescuing him and his bell I managed to take the skin off the tip of the ring finger on my right hand and also get a blister on another finger. Shame it was this week because I have a lot of ringing to do today and it is our annual striking competition in Jersey on Saturday. But a bit of micropore will sort me out for today and hopefully the skin will have healed by Saturday.
