Pre-preschool

I left Sebastien alone in his class this morning for the first time. A whole hour...I think it was harder for me than for him. Apparently he did okay, so long as there was a teacher by him most of the time. I, on the other hand, was pacing nervously downstairs the entire time.

I stayed for the first hour of the class, though, and here he is building a block car with one of the teachers while mayhem ensues in the rest of the class. As per usual, he's concentrating entirely on what he's doing in spite of what goes on around him. He's always been like that.

He told me all about what they did in class on the way home and said he had fun and that it was weird when mommy left but that it was okay.  I'll try leaving for longer next week and see if it keeps working.
