Dahlia Heaven
We spent the morning at Val-Kill, the home of Eleanor Roosevelt and then moved south to the home of Samuel F.B. Morse, painter and inventor of the telegraph. This house is located high on a hill overlooking the Hudson. While there, I discovered the most magnificent Dahlia garden, so my husband left me to go at it for a while with my macro lens while he parked himself on a bench in the shade. I was shooting this gorgeous bloom when this little bee appeared and posed so nicely.
Many thanks to DBifulco for her superb hosting of Tiny Tuesday this month.
