The Other Side of the street

Let it be known that I have survived the hottest day in about 55 yrs here in the UK. So they say. And yes 36C is pretty hot if you haven't got air conditioning. Luckily we were in the car with air conditioning at that temp, so some relief.

Honestly, it's been so lovely since we've been here, it's certainly giving Jon and Ben a good impression of the weather! I've told them it won't last ;-).

Headed to Croydon today to buy Ben a desk and chair and storage for his wardrobe. He's got most things now and David was extremely helpful with transport and assembling stuff, despite engagements that he had. I'm so grateful for his help, really couldn't have done it without him.

Ben is 85% there. Just a few more things. This was always going to be more challenging than Jon's, as he's living in rented accommodation and we have to fit around that. But we're nearly there. Im absolutely exhausted after a busy, stressful and HOT day!!!
