The Old Mill

I was president of Haywood Community College in the mountains of Western North Carolina for 7 years.  I went by there today following a relieving dermatology visit.  The old mill house sits on a pond on the campus and sometimes a class is held in the room inside.  The college has strong associate degree programs in horticulture and in fish and wildlife management who use this space sometimes.  The college campus is naturally beautiful including a well-managed arboretum and a
funded large dahlia garden.  The extra photo shows the mill house and pond, whereas the photo above is taken from the porch of the house looking directly at the operating mill wheel.  I enjoyed my seven years there.  You might like the photos better in large.  Thank you for looking.
