Day of inspiration

Perth open studios is on so Elise and I headed there in the car, via Auchterarder, Dunning and Stanley. It was a beautiful day after horrendous weather last night that stopped Elise being here last night instead of this morning! We had a lovely day that finished at the village hall in Stanley, where we both feel in love with a painting each and went crazy - I decided I should indulge myself a piece of original art - as inspiration as much as anything else! what a brilliant day, could've spent a fortune on all the at I saw and appreciated along the way. Elise and I made a pact to start ' making ' stuff, and she told me about hand knitting! I was intrigued and as Bruce was going to work for the night, I challenged kitty and I to learning hand knitting - we both had a scarf each by the end of the night - so chuffed with us both.
