Working in the sun

I spent the day helping to plant hundreds of plug plants (meadow and wood cranesbill, yellow vetchling, knapweed) in a meadow in Grasmere - it should look wonderful next year. We then had a look round Allen Bank, run by the National Trust, and appreciated its relaxed atmosphere and serve-yourself teas and coffee!
