Red devil .......

A day of not getting much done. Checked the wheat straw but it was too damp to bale, but they must have had less rain overnight than we had up here.
Left 2 on carting home yesterday's barley bales.
Gary from McCaskies in before lunch and left with an order for 6 tons of sheep feed blocks and 6 tons of minerals so quite an expensive cup of coffee for me !
The contractor started seeding winter barley for us today. I am trying a different variety this year called Tower.
A phone call from Kev to say his tractor had a puncture at Bonnyrigg. Took the easy option and called the tyre fitters to come out and put a plug in it in the field.
The oats never really dried enough today to start cutting , then it rained tonight just to make sure.
Went away down the road again in disgust to feed cattle instead .
