The Best Laid Plans
I usually take a blip-insurance picture as early in the day as I can.
But, today I was informed that it was going to be a beautiful day. The morning was indeed lovely, and I decided to wait until the evening and catch the setting sun on the Mersey. By late in the afternoon it had started to rain, and when I set out in the early evening it was as if there was a Mediterranean fog enveloping me. Warm, but no visibility. I could just about see the far bank of the Mersey.
When I was about to return home, a man walked past with a bicycle and asked if I had seen the sun setting. "Beautiful, it was" he said, "about 20 minutes ago."
