Today's events:  I slipped and bruised my toe, the band didn't turn up at the hotel for tonight's entertainment.
On the flipside, I saw a man fall in the pool (and his wife howled with laughter - he was okay) ... and one of the (quite young and good-looking) chefs has taken a liking to me and made me a special Indian chicken curry - I had a lot of "looks" as to why I had a specially prepared meal  :o))
