Dew on Grass

A fabulously hot and sunny day today. the hottest day of the year for some parts of England and the hottest September day for over a hundred years! It was chilly overnight, so the tiny drops of dew on the grass in the sun looked lovely (sorry Igor for copying!)

Excellent news - I've just heard that the first of the 'next generation' in the family was born at 6:17pm. She's a baby girl called Poppy born to my Great Niece. I don't know which makes me feel older, that I'm a Great, Great Aunt, or that my nephew is a grandfather!!!
