Clouds
So many clouds in our sky today, some thick and threatening while others just rolled on by, a hint of blue sky, which Mum was quite taken with, after all of our rain. A little bit of sea mist drifting in.
We stood at the estuary with the blinding light reflecting off the water and the sun warming our backs - gosh it was nice to feel the sun. A few people out walking dogs and some others fishing, we could hear their voices drifting by in the breeze. There is a person out on the point who turned around as they couldn't get back this way with the tide being in.
Such lovely words left for me yesterday, thank you so much. I feel fortunate to be the minder of these family treasures and such precious memories and think I did the wee letter justice with my image.
Time now to put my groceries away, not many thank goodness, think about tea and I have a little sewing to do. I'll be back later :)
Edit: Remember the Ashley River during summer, this is the same river today in flood - winter time.
