Mono Monday - Still Life
I was about to start painting this simple still life when I noticed that the light was suddenly streaming through the blinds, creating lines I hadn't noticed. I'd been trying to paint this from another angle with watercolor, and failing miserably, so decided to move to the easel and try pastel. But then I thought, this might make a nice blip for today. It's been a very still day, with there being no one in the park on our walk today, just the silence and the sunshine and the peacefulness. And there's nothing more traditional than a still life.
Thanks to Ingeborg for the challenge.
“I watched a bowl of fruit on the table remain motionless. Just another example of life imitating art.”
