Melrose Abbey

I love the colour of the stone of this building. Seen at the beginning of a walk to Newstead, the Rhymers Stone, the saddle of the Eildon Hills, Bowden Moor Reservoir, Cauldshiels Hill Fort, returning to Melrose via a diversion round Rhymer's Glen as they are felling trees there. A good day, no rain and a fair amount of sun - and I wasn't leading the walk!
