Frangos

Back on the trail of the shops. I needed to go out and buy bread for this evening's book group, so I headed through Stead's Place intending to go to Breadshare. However, it was closed, and I had to go all the way to Relish. The good news is that it was fully appreciated, as was the rest of the menu - Carrot and Coriander Soup, Spicy Aubergine Bake (with some additional trimmings), and Panna Cotta.

And a good book - The Many Lives of Amory Clay. We all loved it.

Unusally, perhaps unnaturally, warm this evening for mid September. I had to go and put a sleeveless vest on after cooking, and I'm still too warm now at 10pm, with the door open.
