Season of Mists and Mellow Fruitfulness?
Well, no mists but plenty of combines working hard and trailer loads of grain trundling farm-wards.
MaggieD and I took off this evening trying to escape the threatening rain. Stirling was damp with little promise of improvement so we turned east and headed for Culross. It was a warm but breezy village and I took a couple of shots of the LPG tanker, Happy Bee, as she took on the pilot on her way into Grangemouth. Sadly they were just a touch fuzzy so I am offering the above harvesting shot. I rather like the contrast of the sunlit straw and the ominous sky.
