Draining Away

A most definite Autumn feel today - mild wind blowing reasonably hard,  walk before sunrise, dark earlier and earlier,  geese arriving and other unrecognisable birds passing through. 

The colours are draining away along the side of the Hoswick burn as we enter the brown and green season. Still the odd splash of colour but not so easy to spot.
