The leaning tower of ...

Portogruaro.
We have survived another day in the saddle and tonight we are staying in the lovely town of Portogruaro. Adjacent to the cathedral is a 59 metre high XIII century bell tower which today leans more than a metre out of plumb. It is clearly leaning in the photograph. 
Since 2003 measuring instruments have been installed which indicate that further tilting is in progress......
