Catching the rays

It was so good to see the sun shining today :-)

We headed out this afternoon to Ostler's Plantation ...... there were lots of Dragonflies ..... they were flitting everywhere ..... we also saw a few butterflies ...... but as I have blipped both of these recently ..... I thought this lovely Hoverfly ..... which was busy cleaning in the sunshine ..... would make a colourful change ..... do hope you like it :-)

Thanks for all the kind words after yesterday's disaster ....... you really are a great bunch! We did manage to get the mattress dried out by about 11.30pm ....... so at least we could go to bed! :-)
