Plant life is determined to survive and spread itself.

You have probably heard that Japanese Knotweed can push up through tarmac of through cracks in concrete.

But now I discover that Japanese Anemones can grow in the mortar in stone walls. There is no soil here. This is a thick wall with no plants on the other side of it.
