The second day of our visit to Festival America was as good as the first although one small timing glitch kept us from attending a conference about "Literature in the face of terrorism".

Here you have Julie posing in front of the festival's poster. The image, to us French people, is iconic; however, one author, whose parents emigrated to the USA from Colombia, told us that he had been raised in or around New York City and actually hadn't seen such a scene before he was 25... His name is Sergio de la Pava and his novel is called A Naked Singularity.
