CRAB CAKES

My folks picking crab meat to make my mothers famous crab cakes. She is in her 80's and bates her pots, fishes them, cooks and cleans and picks all the crabs then she makes the cakes. I might add she has made over 400 this season with only her aloud 2 pots.  Pretty amazing I'd say. Oh, she gives them as gifts to family and friends as well as the dish she takes to get together's. She always serves them when she has dinner parties  throughout the year at their home also.
I picked a happy blip today but I never forget the people who died today 15 years ago or their families, I'm blessed and thankful to have mine. The extra is where I was 15 years ago and my husband is the only other person I saw out on the water that evening.
