Another day, another mountain.
At breakfast, a thunderstorm rolled over and torrential rain came down. We thought our plan for walking in the mountains was scuppered. But only a couple of hours later it had brightened up. After a loop through and around a gorge, we headed up Mt Pemigewasset - a climb of 1,200 feet through heavily wooded forests, but the trail then spits you out onto a rocky ledge at 2,850 ft height with views all around for miles and miles over the White Mountains of New Hampshire. My husband taking a photo.
