Gardner's Crescent

A street I used to live on. Back in the winter of '98, fresh from HK and the first flat I lived in back in Embra. 

I used to look out the window to roughly where this shot was taken from and there used to be a Ford dealership; if I was bored I could frame the signage so that Parts Discount Warehouse became Farts Disco....  Happy innocent days. 

Anyway, its all nice flats and swish offices these days - the riff raff having long since been swept out of the area.  We were passing for a 2nd time after the large Swedish furniture retailer fucked up for about the 4th time in 2 weeks and were heading back to the supermarket when elder Ciglette clocked this one. (Actually he clocked the one facing out into the street but with my intimate Cigs knowledge, I knew there was another one on the other side, so that's tomorrow assured too! )

Having spotted it, he sat tight and let the younger Ciglette do the modelling honours. Gap t shirt to match the gap in the teeth.
