Alnwick Castle

Thursday Sept 8th.
Having enjoyed Alnwick gardens earlier in the week, we decided to visit the Castle. I was particularly keen to see it as it featured in the last Christmas edition of Downton Abbey. It was lovely to see some of the costumes on display and also a short film about the making of the episode. 

I was using the wide angle lens today and liked this view through the arrow slit.

We also moved on to our second Northumberland B&B today.
