Freesias

One of my most favouritest things in the world, and one of the best things about early Spring, is the arrival of freesias. Our garden is all a-scented with them at the moment. It's just wonderful.

Today was a huge gardening day. Down to Flower Power at Penrith, spent teh moneys, came back, and spent teh hours. ;) Highly satisfying.

I also checked on my newly rodent-proofed compost bins (I stuck wire mesh underneath them yesterday, as well as rotating the composting waste from bin to bin in the doing); there was no sign of any rodentish entry-making. Which pleases me very muchly.
